So we've submitted my photography into a couple of magazines/contests, but as of yet to no avail. We've tried F-Stop Magazine, which is an amazing online photography magazine, and the Studio414 Contest, which we think is a great contest, but both have come back empty.
Unfortunately, we have not been picked in either case, but we have my photography in some other places as well and are hoping one of them pulls through!
One of the problems we're facing has to do with the Social vs. Beauty blog post I made a while back. Almost all of my photography, by choice, is beauty photography - the type that people can hang on their wall. However, the photography community (magazines, contests, etc.) more highly covet the social and political photography.
Anyway, just thought I'd release the negative energy so the positive can continue to flow!! Thanks as always to all our readers and supporters, as you make everything so much fun! Here's to keepin' on keepin' on! :-)
